Although some of the friendliest and happiest people you'll ever meet, the Ghanaians have limited access to modern tools in their society and consequently often face the challenge of living in unsanitary conditions. By volunteering on this program, you could have the opportunity to change lives in a whole village by building systems to bring them clean water.

Situated at the African continent's edge, overlooking the Indian Ocean, Tanzania boasts an ideal location blessed with weather and climate that fulfill every desire. Basking in warm and sunlit days, complemented by refreshing and tranquil nights, whether you're embarking on a Serengeti safari or indulging in the tropical splendors of Zanzibar's beaches, the temperatures are consistently pleasant and gentle, creating an inviting atmosphere throughout your journey.

Experience the European spirit of past, present, and future through Globe Aware's Romania program. Volunteers will work in a village on the outskirts of the beautiful city of Brasov, targeting children and at-risk families to fight against poverty and injustice. Work projects include building a Social and Educational Center (a future home for ten homeless families), improving the living conditions of the often marginalized Roma community, and implementing environmentally friendly attitudes towards the local community and its surroundings.

Buddhism in Nepal is the second-largest religion and is home to major Buddhist monuments and monasteries in the capital city of Kathmandu. Every year, the city usually receives travelers from all over the world, visiting the Buddha Stupa Boudhanath and the Swyambhu Maha Chaitya Swayambhunath stupas. These are famous architectural sites found only in Nepal.

You will be staying at a small town called Dete, which is 2 hours south of the magnificent Victoria Falls and on the edge of Hwange National Park. Hwange is by far the largest Park in Zimbabwe with a huge and varied quantity of animals and birds.

The Nepal program offered by Globe Aware is in Kathmandu, the bustling capital city. Your busy itinerary will encompass immersing yourself in Nepali culture, discovering the beauty of nature, and participating in school volunteering activities.
