Interacting and working alongside the local volunteers was the most meaningful to me - sharing in their care, resourcefulness, and love of the community. I found the free time to be a perfect balance - I was tired at the end of the day and recharged to do it again the next morning! The food was delicious and plentiful! My favorite meals were made by our host and the local project volunteers. I really appreciated staying in the casa and the homemade meals as well. Our guides were amazing and made the experience both educational and impactful. They were excellent with communication and organization.
