My name is Phonesvan Bilavarn. I am local resident from Luang Prabang, Laos. I graduated from a teacher training college in Vientiane, Laos and also attended several other universities such as the East West Center University of Hawaii, RELC (Regional English Language Center) in Singapore, and Canberra University in Austrailia. I have held many positions within Lao. I used to work at Lao-American Association as a secretary and a teacher. I have worked for Ministry of Public Health as a volunteer with the disabled people association in Vientiane. I was also chosen to participate in disabled people's conference in Stockholm, Sweden. Currently, I teach at Souphanouvong University as a language teacher and a volunteer librarian. I am responsible for local cultural center in Xieng Mouane Village. I am so excited to be work as the coordinator for Globeaware in Laos, because I love working with people and helping the local Lao children. I especially like working in education and with the environment.
