| Adan is 17-years-old and just began his senior year of high school in the fall. Along with starting his last year of high school, Adan has also recently been elected as his Senior Class President. At school he is president of the KOM mentoring program, Spanish Honor Society and DECA Chapter. He is a member of the National Honor Society,Debate Team,JSA, Junior Achievement and Education is Freedom, Dallas Youth Committee , Dallas Young Lawyers Association, Texas Leadership Forum and UIL Academic team. This summer he was awarded the 2010 Made a difference Award making him Dallas Volunteer of the year. He is in the varsity soccer and varsity cross country team at his school, and he’s recognized nationally as a Dallas Golden Gloves boxing champ. |
| Alicia was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School where she participated in many volunteer and other leadership organizations. Throughout high school she worked part-time at a local pet store and full-time in the summer at a nationally recognized showroom in the Dallas Design District. Currently she is a freshmen at the University of Texas at Austin studying philosophy. She hopes to leave her mark in the world and get to travel and continue to volunteer. "My trip to Costa Rica showed me that it is necessary to go out and see the world to gain a new perspective on my own life and be able to relate to people of other cultures while helping them better their community." - Alicia |
