Due to the
recent changes in US-Cuba policy instituted by President George
Bush limiting licenses for travel to Cuba, we are in the process
of restructuring our program. We hope to have it up and running
soon. Unfortunately there is no timeline given by the US Department
of the Treasury on approving licenses, therefore we can only give
an estimate that the program will hopefully be running by this fall.
The project revolves around a variety of humanitarin assistance
projects helping children, from building playgrounds in Havana,
to working with them in a variety of projects for children with
severe learning disabilities, for which there are no special government
provisions.Vo
